FAQs

How old is too old to train?

You are never too old (or too young) to start training. Regardless of age we can all benefit from training. All programs are developed on a personal basis, and change to suit your mind, body and personal requirements. We train people as young as school kids (6 years) through to older adults. (80 years)

Are standard training programs used?

Absolutely Not, no program is suited to everybody. Each person will have a program developed based on their individual needs. We work with you to determine what is required from your training and how best to achieve the goals you are aiming for.

I don't want to join a gym - can I still train?

You don’t have to be a member of our gym to train in our Fitness Studio. Yes. While the gym environment usually offers more range with equipment and classes, if your preference is to not train in a gym we can come to you. We can organise sessions outdoors or at your own home gym if you have one. Outdoor sessions will be set up to utilise the environment while we also bring equipment with us. This ensures that you still get the maximum results from your sessions without having to pay membership fees at a gym.

Won't I lose weight just by doing classes at the gym? Why do I need a personal trainer?

Doing gym classes offer some exercise that will benefit you. However to gain maximum results, a personal trainer will offer so much more. The programs are designed for you and take into account what you need to do to reach your goals. We also seek to assist you with nutritional and healthy advice to ensure you are getting the most out of your training sessions. Personal trainers also help you to keep motivated and want you to reach your goals just as much as you do.

How will I know if I am improving?

Your personal trainer will monitor your progress. You will have regular fitness assessments that will determine whether you are getting closer to your goals.
